01 / CALCULATE & CHECK

Work session hours

1–7 sessions

Start, finish and unpaid breaks. Review the exact duration before adding it to your work log.

Try an example
Clock-time rules & limits

Use clock-face times, 00:00–23:59 (optional seconds). Choose Next day explicitly. Cross-midnight work uses the start date. This helper does not calculate time zones, DST, clock changes, payroll or overtime. For actual elapsed time across a clock change, use manual duration entry.

Worked examples: clock time and decimal hours

09:00 to 17:30 minus 30 minutes of unpaid break is 28,800 seconds: 8:00 hours, or 8 decimal hours.

22:00 to 06:00 with Next day selected, minus 30 minutes, is 27,000 seconds: 7:30 hours, or 7.5 decimal hours. 7:30 means 7 hours and 30 minutes; it does not mean 7.30 decimal hours.

Same start/end means zero hours without Next day, or 24 clock hours with it. Zero and invalid sessions cannot enter the log. After adding work, use the existing client statement workflow.

Nearest ties go upward. Zero stays zero. Daily groups share a work date, project, currency and historical rate.

Included-hours balance (optional)

Uses the statement's selected date range. One balance per project and named period; selected billable work only.

Backup & restore

Work stays in this tab unless you choose device saving. This is not an encrypted vault. Clearing browser data loses unbacked-up work.

The complete backup contains private notes, other clients, historical edits, policies, allowances and frozen statements. Never send it as the client packet.

Review entered hours and prepare a statement

Local work records, explicit billing policies and private client statement packets.

How to use it

Review the time entries and statement details before preparing a client-facing handoff. Keep the reviewed source entries for your own reconciliation.

Limits to check

Entered records are not independently verified work time, payroll processing or payment confirmation.

The steps and limits describe this tool. Review the in-app instructions and use the included synthetic example, where available, before importing your own work. Browser data stays specific to the origin and browser you used; keep a recovery export before switching addresses.
